Design and Development Methodology
Using proven development methodology, we design our sites to meet the unique needs of you and your clients.
Our typical website development life-cycle includes:
- Analysis and requirements gathering - At this initial
stage, we meet with you to understand your goals for your web site and your
business. Your budget, your ideas and preferences and your current visitor
profile are all taken into account as we formulate a plan.
Strategies for marketing your web site and enhancing search engine visibility are included from the very beginning of the process.
- Design - The visual and structural
aspects of the site, working with you until you are happy with the layout
and direction.
- Development - The actual coding, programming and graphics
selection which will be used to meet the goals identified in steps 1 and 2.
- Testing and validation - Before going "live",
we test extensively for cross browser performance and perform validation
to ensure that the site meets W3C HTML/XHTML, CSS and Web Accessibility
standards.
We test in the most popular current browsers and platforms. Our clients also test the site at this stage to verify that it meets the requirements we defined previously. Any issues identified are addressed before the site is deployed.
- Deployment and site promotion - Once testing is completed
to your satisfaction, we deploy the new web site. At this point, can optionally conduct link building
campaigns and set up effective and economical "pay per
click"
ad campaigns.
- Maintenance - If your web site
is not maintained and updated, visitor traffic will decline. We offer a variety
of plans, from on-demand site updates to annual web site maintenance contracts.
